Welcome Christopher Lewis to the Fire EMT team!
Chris has joined the team as an Emergency Planning Instructor and brings with him a varied range of skills and experiences.
Originally from NSW, Chris was actively involved with Fire Rescue NSW as a retained Fire Fighter where he was providing operational advice, community engagement activities, supervising high risk activities, mentoring new recruits and running school based first response programs.
Chris has travelled to South Africa for medic work, has been a soldier in the Australia Defence Force, has worked in security and for numerous RTO’s.
Moving to Queensland earlier this year, he was working for St Johns Ambulance delivering First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation courses before making the change to Fire EMT.
He has hit the ground running and is quickly learning the ropes so look out for him at your next training session!
