Fire EMT hit the road last week to conduct a series of Bushfire Audits for Sunwater in several locations across Queensland.
Travelling through Bundaberg, Proserpine and remote areas around Clare, the audits are a preventative measure in preparation for bushfire season.
They include a thorough assessment of factors such as;
- Evidence of excess ground fuels
- Surrounding vegetation types
- Correct fitment of water tanks outlets
- Maintenance on pumps, generators and water systems
This wraps up our annual services for Sunwater, which started in May and covered Emergency Management Plans, Evacuation Exercises and Fire Safety Inspections across 33 sites.
